Baía do Tejo
The company BAíA DO TEJO, SA resulted from the merger through incorporation of SNESGES - Administração e Gestão de Imóveis e Prestação de Serviços, SA and URBINDÚSTRIA - Sociedade de Urbanização e Infraestruturação de Imóveis, SA at QUIMIPARQUE - Parques Empresariais, SA.
These two companies (SNESGES and URBINDÚSTRIA) managed the areas of the former Siderurgia Nacional no Seixal and Seixal Industrial Park.
Quimiparque, in turn, managed the Barreiro Business Park (Quimigal's former industrial complex in Barreiro) and the Estarreja Business Park (Quimigal's former industrial complex in Estarreja).
The mission of the new company, BAíA DO TEJO, SA, is to build on the land-use management and development of these areas, now with coordinated management to help contribute to the success of the "Tagus South Bank" project (Projeto do Arco Ribeirinho do Sul) announced by the government in July 2009.
